The Place of Peace initiative in Vacaville was founded in 1999 by Patricia Hunter, a local school teacher, who gathered support from friends, local government and organizations to embed positive change in our community. (Founder's Story)
A group of local volunteers is currently working to refresh Place of Peace in Vacaville. Events in our community and across the nation during recent months signaled to us that our belief and mission are indeed worthy of a new and sustained effort.
